More… This volunteer commission will oversee policies related to hiring, promotions, pay and disciplinary measures for the Victoria Fire Department, including physical and written exams for hiring and promotions. The commission will create and adopt regulations as allowed by state law. In addition, the commission will oversee appeals of disciplinary actions for covered employees. The commission will not play a role in collective bargaining. There is no compensation for serving on this commission.Less…
