[ARCHIVED] Parts of Riverside Park close

The City of Victoria Parks & Recreation has closed parts of Riverside Park as the Guadalupe River rises.

The following areas are closed:

  • McCright Drive from the Children’s Playground to Riverside Golf Course, including the boat ramp and Grover’s Bend
  • Fox’s Bend
  • John Lee Drive

The Children’s Park, Riverside Golf Course, The Texas Zoo and The PumpHouse will remain open.

Parks & Recreation staff continue to monitor the river forecast and will reopen the park fully when it is safe to do so.

More information will be provided as it becomes available.
