Musicians perform onstage at night outside with blue lights in front of cheering crowdAfter COVID-19 put Bootfest on hold last year, Victoria residents will once again be able to tap their boots to live music as the festival returns with a new format that will bring the fun to a wider part of downtown.

Joel Novosad“We know that residents missed the festival last year, and so we are excited to have the chance to celebrate our community again,” said Joel Novosad, director of the City of Victoria Convention and Visitors Bureau. “We hope that this year’s Bootfest can serve as a way for residents to come together and celebrate after a difficult year.”

The live music festival will be Oct. 1-2 in downtown Victoria.

This year’s festival will take place at multiple performing areas around downtown, giving attendees the opportunity to explore downtown and visit local businesses.

More details about the event, including a performance lineup, will be shared as they become available.

The City is seeking food and merchandise vendors for the event. The application deadline is June 30. Application forms are available at www.explorevictoriatexas.com/p/events/bootfest
