[ARCHIVED] Victoria Police Officers Association paints curbs to aid emergency response

The VPOA, an association consisting of Victoria Police Department employees, is volunteering to paint address numbers on residents’ curbs to help improve emergency response times. There is no cost for the service, but VPOA will accept donations to help with its programs. The VPOA received requests to paint more than 70 addresses on curbs to help first responders identify homes. About half of the requested addresses were painted May 8, and the rest will be scheduled for a future service project.
