[ARCHIVED] Keep Victoria Beautiful invites residents to clean up highway

Residents can play a role in keeping Victoria beautiful by signing up for the City of Victoria/Keep Victoria Beautiful Adopt-a-Highway cleanup 7:30 a.m. April 10.

Volunteers will meet in the Target parking lot, 7608 Zac Lentz Parkway, then split into groups to clean Loop 463 between highways 77 and 87.

To sign up or to be notified of future cleanups, visit www.victoriatx.gov/kvb or contact Christy Youker at 361-485-3235 or cyouker@victoriatx.gov. Volunteers must be at least 11 years old. Residents registering on behalf of a group should indicate how many people will attend.

Donuts and water will be provided. The City will provide safety vests as well as cleaning equipment such as gloves and trash bags.

Residents must bring their own facial coverings and practice social distancing. Hand sanitizer will be available.
