The City of Victoria Municipal Court, which recently moved to the new Public Safety Headquarters at 2525 N. Main St., is announcing that most services will be unavailable starting 5:30 p.m. Monday, March 23, through Tuesday, March 24, including access to specific or detailed case-related information, Interactive Voice Response (IVR) payments, online payments and online records.
Court staff will still have access to email and will be able to answer phone calls for general questions. Any tickets that are due March 23 must be paid by 5:30 p.m. The court will not schedule any tickets to be due March 24.
The limited services are due to server migration, from a local server to a cloud-based server. The technology updates will alleviate the burden on local IT staff and will improve access to court services during off-site events, such as the court’s outreach dockets.
The migration to a cloud-based server was planned for in the 2026 budget and will be less expensive than replacing the current server.
“This change represents a move into the future for our court,” said Municipal Court Administrator Tiffany Totah. “We appreciate residents’ patience as we take this step to improve services to our community.”
