City of Victoria trash and recycling pickups that were originally scheduled for Thursday will be picked up Saturday instead.
Friday’s pickups will continue as normally scheduled.
The compost facility will reopen Friday with regular hours.
The landfill will remain closed on Friday but will reopen to the public Saturday. Only vehicles with four-wheel drive will be permitted due to muddy conditions.
Keep Victoria Beautiful encourages residents to clean up household trash and small debris left in their neighborhoods by the storm. For assistance removing large debris or tree limbs, contact Public Works at 361-485-3380.
Residents who need help locating carts that have been displaced by flooding can call Solid Waste at 361-485-3220 to verify their cart number.
