[ARCHIVED] Keep Victoria Beautiful reschedules F.W. Gross neighborhood cleanup

The Keep Victoria Beautiful cleanup scheduled for Feb. 22 in the F.W. Gross neighborhood has been rescheduled due to a forecast of inclement weather. 

The new date for the cleanup will be  Nov. 15. 

Which services will still be provided?

Environmental Services will continue offering pickups of bulky trash and tree limbs in the neighborhood through Feb. 28 at no additional cost.

Tree limbs and bulky items should be placed separately for pickup. Residents are reminded to place tree limbs away from water meters and overhead lines.

Residents who will need help moving trash to the curb for pickup should contact Environmental Services at 361-485-3230 or keepvictoriabeautiful@victoriatx.gov.

Through Feb. 28 only, residents in the F.W. Gross neighborhood can leave out refrigerators and other Freon appliances for pickup. Appliance Pro will remove Freon from collected appliances at no cost to residents or the City.

Other hazardous materials, such as TVs, will not be accepted. To schedule a no-cost pickup of household hazardous waste, contact Waste Management at 1-800-449-7587.

What’s next

Keep Victoria Beautiful will host its next citywide cleanup 8-10 a.m. May 3. More information will be provided as it becomes available.
