The City of Victoria Parks & Recreation is seeking parade entrants and food/merchandise vendors to help make downtown merry and bright during this year’s Lighted Christmas Parade.
The parade will be held in downtown Victoria on Dec. 6, the first Saturday in December.
Registration for the parade opens Oct. 1 at 8 a.m. Local organizations can apply in the following categories:
- Car/Motorcycle Club
- Float (Truck & Trailer)
- Marching Band
- Walking Organization
- Drill Team/ Cheer Squad
Residents can sign up by visiting www.victoriatx.gov/registration or by contacting Parks & Recreation at 361-485-3200 or parks@victoriatx.gov. Residents should also contact Parks & Recreation for vendor registration.
Registration is free, but space is limited, so residents are encouraged to sign up as soon as possible. The deadline to register for the parade is Oct. 31.
