The City of Victoria is applying for a funding allocation through the Community Development Block Grant-Mitigation (CDBG-MIT) program. - Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) Water & Wastewater Improvement Project: To implement new monitoring equipment for the City’s water system, which will allow the City to more quickly identify and address problems, such as the water loss that occurred during Winter Storm Uri in 2021.
- New Influent Screen Facility Project at the Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant: To add new screening equipment at the regional wastewater treatment plant, which will help the plant to operate efficiently during stormy conditions and prevent blockages.
