The clinic is expected to open in July 2024 and will offer services including optometry, audiology, prosthetics, women’s health, mammography, radiology and mental health, according to information provided by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. The new clinic was made possible in part by a performance agreement between the Victoria Sales Tax Development Corporation and Diversified Wellness Associates, the developer of Springwood Medical Park. Under the agreement, the VSTDC will reimburse Diversified Wellness Associates up to $380,000 toward the cost of a road and utilities leading to the new building.
