Crime Stoppers Pays...

The Victoria Crime Stoppers Program, ran by the non-profit corporation Victoria Crime Stoppers Inc., is a program that asks citizens of the community to anonymously provide information regarding unsolved crimes and wanted persons.  The program is directed by a board of citizen volunteers and is managed by a Victoria Police Detective. 

Featured crimes and wanted persons are published through conventional media outlets such as television, newspaper and radio as well as social media outlets such as Facebook, Twitter and websites.  Information obtained on unsolved crimes or wanted persons, regardless if featured, is eligible for cash rewards up to $10,000 if the information leads to an arrest or indictment.

Tips may be provided via telephone, police or P3 website, or the “P3 Tips”  smartphone app.  All tip providers remain anonymous and will receive a code  number for identification purposes.  Regardless of the tip method, remember  your  Tip ID# that you are provided.

Dial 911 in the event of an emergency. Crime Stoppers is not to be relied upon  for  any emergency communications.

Smartphone App Tips:Crime Stoppers P3 App

First search the App Stores on either an iPhone or Android phone for P3Tips and download the app.  The P3Tips app will allow tipsters to submit secure and anonymous tips to Victoria Crime Stoppers and will reach your local law enforcement agency.

First time users should follow the prompts in the app to choose your location - Texas - then Victoria - then Victoria Crime Stoppers, Inc.

You will then be prompted to choose a security code for your own access to the app.

Then when filling out the tip information, please include all of the appropriate information in the areas provided in order to give Crime Stoppers as much information as possible.  You can even add a photo or other attachments. 

Click Submit and then wait until you see a reply giving you your Tip ID code and and a Password.  You need to remember the Tip ID code and Password.  Then you are finished.

Check back in the app from time to time to see if Crime Stoppers has questions or any follow-up information for you.
