William Street Narrowed for Utility Line Installation on November 23
(VICTORIA, TEXAS) Beginning on Monday, November 23, 2015, the City will reduce William Street to southbound only traffic from Rio Grande Street to North Street in order to install utility lines. This closure to northbound traffic is expected to take 2 days, weather permitting.
All businesses in the construction zone will remain open and accessible, and the public is encouraged to support businesses in the work zone. Through-traffic can avoid delays in the work zone by seeking alternate routes.
This construction is part of the $3,751,414.70 Downtown Water and Sewer Line Replacements (Ph III - Projects 7a, 8a, & 9a). The contractor is Palacios Marine and Industrial Coatings, Inc. of Palacios, Texas.
