  • 03/08/2022 – VPD begins accepting applications online only at www.victoriapd.com
  • 04/08/2022 – Application process closes at noon
  • 04/12/2022 – Applicant testing by invitation only (written, and PT)
  • 04/13/2022 to 04/14/2022 – Review Board Interviews
  • 04/18/2022 to 05/13/2022 – Background investigations occur
  • 05/16/2022 to 05/20/2022 –  Backgrounds reviewed by Police Administration
  • 05/23/2022 to 05/27/2022 –  Chief Interviews
  • 05/30/2022 to 06/03/2022 –  Job offers made 
  • 06/20/2022 – Start date with VPD (pre-academy orientation)
  • 07/11/2022 – Victoria College Police Academy begins
  • 12/08/2022 – Victoria College Police Academy graduation
  • 12/09/2022 – Cadets return to VPD
