Welcome to the City of Victoria's Purchasing Department.

The main objective of the purchasing department is to obtain the proper material at the proper price from the proper vendor. The purchasing department is responsible for placing all purchases over $150 up to $25,000. The purchasing department also maintains a central warehouse where various supplies are kept for use by all city departments. Purchasing is also responsible for holding a yearly public auction to sell used, outdated equipment and unclaimed property from the Victoria Police Department. The purchasing/warehouse staff has a combined total of  50 years experience in our field.
