Captain of Support Services

Jesse Turner

Captain Jesse Turner began his career with the Police Department in October 1983 graduating from the very first Victoria College Police Academy Class.  His assignments have included Patrol, Traffic Safety, SWAT, Personnel and Training, Professional Standards, and Support Services.  Captain Turner has held the ranks of Sergeant, Lieutenant, and in 2004 was promoted to the rank of Captain and is assigned to the Support Services Division.

Captain Turner is a graduate of the Bill Blackwood Law Enforcement Management Institute of Texas (Class #52), as well as the prestigious FBI National Academy (Session #228).  He holds a Master Peace Officer certification from Texas Commission on Law Enforcement Officer Standards and Education with over 4700 hours of police in-service training.

As Captain of Support Services, Captain Turner is responsible for Records, Telecommunications, Crime Prevention, and the Police Department budget.
