Felix Appelt

Sergeant Felix Appelt has served with the Victoria Police Department since 1994 and has experience in Patrol, Investigations, and SWAT. 

Sergeant Appelt holds a TCLEOSE Master Police Officer certification, and several licenses through TCLEOSE which includes Firearms Instructor, TCLEOSE instructor, Chemical Munitions Instructor, Distraction Device Instructor and Less Lethal Instructor Licenses. 

Sergeant Appelt has served as a School Resource Officer, Bicycle Patrol Officer, and SWAT team leader.

He is currently assigned as the Sergeant over the Crime Prevention Unit  and he is the Department's Emergency Management Planner. 

In 1997, Sergeant Felix Appelt was awarded the Department's Medal of Valor for a successful hostage negotiation incident.
