Accident Reports

Accident/Collision reports can be easily accessed at the PoliceReports.us. To search for a report number, or the date of the accident and the driver's last name. The report can then be printed immediately, at home or at the office. Because this is a self-service feature, available anytime of the day or week, members of the public should expend less time and effort to obtain the reports they need. The police department expects to realize significant savings through a reduction in the time required to process the many requests for reports received each year.
The nominal charge for this on-line service is $6.00, the same amount that is currently charged for a mailed report, and is payable by major credit or debit account.
Copies of reports generated prior to September 1, 2007 may still be obtained by visiting the Victoria Police Department Records Section in person or by mailing a request to the below address:

Sex Offender Inquiries

Convicted sex offenders are required to register with local law enforcement in the jurisdiction where they live. The names and addresses of Sex Offenders who register with the Victoria Police Department are provided to the Texas Department of Public Safety, which maintains a public database of names, crimes and addresses.

Registration involves the offender providing information that includes, but is not limited to, the offender’s name and address, a color photograph, and the offense the offender was convicted of or adjudicated for. Registered sex offenders are required to periodically report to the Victoria Police Department to verify the accuracy of their registration information and to promptly report certain changes in the information as those changes occur. A sex offender who fails to comply with any registration requirement is subject to felony prosecution.

You may search by offender name, city and zip code of registration, or by name and city/zip code. The zip codes for which offenders are registered in the city limits of Carrollton are: 77901, 77902, 77903, 77904, and 77905.
