The Victoria Police Department Honor Guard began as a loosely knit group who represented the department in paying tribute to fallen officers.

Today, the Honor Guard consists of a team of dedicated officers who volunteer their time to participate.  The Honor Guard, with their drilled precision and specialized uniforms, participates in funerals and memorials honoring those officers who have died, whether or not it was in the line of duty.

The Honor Guard represents the Victoria Police Department in showing our love and respect for our brother and sister officers, who dedicated their lives to the community.  The Guard travels around the state to make our contribution to the memory of a fallen officer.
