Constitution Street Reduced To One-Lane

Between Wheeler and William Streets July 12

(VICTORIA, TEXAS) The City will reduce Constitution Street to one-lane eastbound between Wheeler and William Streets Monday, July 12 to install water lines. Construction is expected to take approximately two weeks, weather permitting. 

All businesses and parking lots in the work zone will remain accessible via alternate routes.

Although the City and contractor are working to reduce public inconvenience, drivers can still experience delays during construction. Alternate routes are suggested when possible.

This construction is part of the $2,092,079.00 Downtown Water and Sewer Line Replacements (Phase I, Projects 3 & 4); this phase is estimated to be complete in seven months, The contractor performing the work is SER Construction Partners, LTD from Pasadena, Texas
