 Free “Family Fish Out” May 10

              (VICTORIA, TEXAS) Come and enjoy a morning of free fishing at the Ethel Lee Tracy Park Pond on Saturday, May 10 from 8 a.m. to noon, hosted by the Victoria Parks & Recreation Department.

              The pond will be stocked with channel catfish prior to the event giving fishermen an excellent chance of “reeling in” a big one!  Texas Parks and Wildlife has waived the need to acquire a fishing license for THIS DAY’S EVENT ONLY.

              Children ages 1-6 and 7-12 may complete for prizes in the following categories:

 Longest Fish

Smallest/Shortest Fish

Most Fish

                  Academy Sports and Outdoors is the exclusive sponsor of this year’s Family Fish Out event.  Through their generous donations, there will be a limited number of rods & reels - for loan - and free bait will be available on a first come first served basis.

              In addition, Academy Sports and Outdoors has donated a kayak that will be awarded as a door prize to the winning participant at the Fish Out event.  You must register and be present to win the drawing at 11:30 a.m.
