Spring Spruce Up Clean Up and Fun Day Scheduled for
Saturday, April 12, 2008
(VICTORIA, TEXAS) The City of Victoria will host a Spring Spruce Up and Clean Up Day on April 12, 2008 from 9:00 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event will clean up the Eastside Addition Neighborhood, which is directly across from the City Pool on Ben Wilson Street.
Everyone is encouraged to participate in the cleanup. Volunteers are needed and encouraged to meet between 8:15 a.m. and 8:45 a.m. at the Jerusalem Family Praise Center parking lot on 208 North Ben Wilson (at the intersection of Ben Wilson and Forrest Streets) for registration and assignments.
After the cleanup all volunteers will meet from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. for a free hotdog lunch and refreshments at New Wine Fellowship church at 208 South Ben Wilson (at the corner of Ben Wilson and Juan Linn Streets). There will be hot dog lunch, snow cones, an Obstacle Course, prizes and much more.
