Bootfest Fireworks Show Moved to Friday, Oct. 5

(Victoria, Texas) – The Bootfest fireworks show set to launch from the top of the One O’Connor Plaza building following Easton Corbin’s performance on Saturday, Oct. 6 in downtown Victoria has been moved to Friday, Oct. 5 following the performance of Stoney LaRue at 11 pm.

The last-minute change was decided upon by event organizers after learning that a dry cool front will move into Victoria Saturday evening.

“We’re going to have great weather for Bootfest but if the north wind blows too hard Saturday night the fireworks show cannot be shot,” said LaRue Roth, Director of the Victoria Convention and Visitors Bureau. “So we have moved the fireworks show to Friday night so everyone can enjoy the pyrotechnics.”

The fireworks show is sponsored by Klean Corp International, and Robby and Tami Burdge.
