Victoria Parks and Recreation Taking Applications for Annual Lighted Christmas Parade

(VICTORIA, TEXAS) Bands and businesses, churches and cheerleaders, and service organizations are invited to showcase their holiday spirit at the Lighted Christmas Parade, hosted by the Victoria Parks and Recreation Department on Saturday, December 1, 2012.

The Lighted Christmas Parade will take place through the streets in downtown Victoria.  Come rain or shine, the Christmas parade will start at 6 p.m. An estimated 20,000 people will watch entries travel along Main and Bridge Streets in downtown Victoria during the two-hour parade. 

Entries are not limited to Victorians. Every town is encouraged to participate.
