Goodwin Street Narrowed from Glass to Bridge Streets

for Utility Construction Thursday, November 19

(VICTORIA, TEXAS) The City will narrow Goodwin Street to one lane eastbound from Glass Street to Bridge Street Thursday, November 19 for utility installation. The construction should take approximately two days, weather permitting. 

All businesses and parking lots in the construction zone will remain accessible via alternate routes. On-street parking will be prohibited in the work zone.

Although the City has taken measures to reduce the inconvenience to the public, drivers can expect major delays in the work zone and should use alternate routes to avoid the work area if possible.

This construction is part of the $2,913,062 Downtown Water and Sewer Line Replacements (Phase I, Projects 1 & 2). The contractor is Triple B Services, LLP from Huffman, Texas.
