Constitution Street Reduced to One-Way Eastbound
Between Main and Bridge Streets Beginning June 30
(VICTORIA, TEXAS) Beginning on Wednesday, June 30 the City will reduce Constitution Street between Main Street and Bridge Street to one-way eastbound only for approximately four weeks for the construction of a new curb, gutter, sidewalk and storm sewer.
Parking will be restricted on the north side of Constitution Street (adjacent to the south side of DeLeon Plaza) between Main Street and Bridge Street during this period.
The contractor will continue to reduce Main Street between Forrest Street and Constitution Street to one lane for approximately three more weeks to complete the construction of a new curb, gutter, sidewalk, and storm sewer.
There will be no parking along the west side of Main Street between Forrest Street and Constitution Street (adjacent to DeLeon Plaza) during this time. Drivers can expect delays in the work zone and should use alternate routes to get around the work zone if possible.
All businesses and parking lots in the construction zone will remain accessible via alternate routes. On-street parking will be prohibited in the work zone.
This construction is part of the $2,168,275 Main Street and DeLeon Plaza Improvements Project. The contractor is SER Construction Partners, Ltd. of Pasadena, Texas.
