Main Street Reduced To One-Lane Southbound

from Commercial Street to Santa Rosa Beginning January 13

(VICTORIA, TEXAS) The City will reduce Main Street to one lane southbound from Commercial Street to Santa Rosa Street Wednesday, January 13, to install utilities. Construction on Main Street is expected to take approximately two weeks, weather permitting. 

All businesses and parking lots in the construction zone will remain accessible via alternate routes. On-street parking will be prohibited in the work zone.

Although the City has taken measures to reduce the inconvenience to the public, drivers can expect major delays in the work zone and through-traffic should use alternate routes if possible.

This construction is part of the $2,913,062 Downtown Water and Sewer Line Replacements (Phase I, Projects 1 & 2). The contractor is Triple B Services, LLP from Huffman, Texas.
