Main Street Reduced to One-Lane Southbound

Between Santa Rosa and Juan Linn Streets March 1

(VICTORIA,TX) The City will reduce Main Street to one lane southbound from Santa Rosa Street to Juan Linn Street beginning Monday, March 1, to install utilities. Construction on Main Street is expected to take approximately 2 weeks, weather permitting.  During construction, only eastbound traffic will be allowed on Juan Linn Street at the Main Street and Juan Linn Street intersection.

All businesses and parking lots in the construction zone will remain accessible via alternate routes. On-street parking will be prohibited in the work zone.

Although the City has taken measures to reduce the inconvenience to the public, drivers can expect major delays in the work zone. Alternate routes are suggested whenever possible.

This construction is part of the $2,913,062 Downtown Water and Sewer Line Replacement Project (Phase I, Projects 1 & 2). The contractor is Triple B Services, LLP from Huffman, Texas.
