Glass Street reduced to one-lane between
Commercial and Juan Linn Streets January 4
(VICTORIA, TEXAS) Glass Street will be narrowed to one-lane southbound between Juan Linn and Commercial Streets Monday, January 4, for final concrete pavement repair. The construction is expected to take approximately four weeks, weather permitting.
All businesses and parking lots in the construction zone will remain accessible via alternate routes. On-street parking will be prohibited in the work zone.
To work safely and efficiently, the intersections of Glass Street and Santa Rosa, Constitution, Forrest, Goodwin, and Commercial Streets will be completely closed for short periods. These intersections will reopen as soon as the work zone is clear.
The City is making every effort to minimize any inconvenience to the public; however, delays in the work zone are possible. Alternate routes are suggested.
This construction is part of the $2,913,062 Downtown Water and Sewer Line Replacements project,
(Phase I, Projects 1 & 2). The contractor is Triple B Services, LLP from Huffman, Texas.
