Constitution Street closed between

Liberty and William Streets for two weeks

(VICTORIA, TEXAS) Constitution Street will be closed between Liberty and William Street to thru-traffic for approximately two weeks beginning Monday, January 4. Constitution Street is a concrete street with an asphalt topping. Final paving will take place during this time.

All businesses and parking lots in the construction zone will remain accessible via alternate routes. On-street parking will be prohibited in the work zone.

To work safely and efficiently, the intersections at Constitution and William and Constitution and Liberty Streets will be completely closed for short periods.  These intersections will reopen as soon as the work zone is clear.

The City is making every effort to minimize any inconvenience to the public; however, delays in the work zone are possible. Alternate routes are suggested.

This construction is part of the $2,913,062 Downtown Water and Sewer

Line Replacements project, (Phase I, Projects 1 & 2). The contractor is Triple B Services, LLP from Huffman, Texas.
