Laurent Street Closed from Airline Road to Crestwood Drive and

Laurent/Mesquite Lane Intersection closed for one night-August 6

(VICTORIA, TEXAS) The City will close Laurent Street from Airline Road to Crestwood Drive and the intersection of Laurent Street at Mesquite Lane on Friday, August 6 between 12 a.m. - 7 a.m. to place concrete on the northbound lane--from Our Lady of Victory Church to Rosebud Avenue.  

Mesquite Lane can be accessed via Bluebonnet Drive (west of Laurent) and Azalea Street (east of Laurent). The construction should be completed over this one night, weather permitting. 

All businesses and parking lots in the construction zone will remain accessible via alternate routes. On-street parking will be prohibited in the work zone.

This construction is part of the $6,171,007 Laurent Street Reconstruction Phase II Project. The contractor is Total Site, Inc. of Houston, Texas.
