 Main Street Reduced to One Lane Beginning on April 25

(VICTORIA, TEXAS) Beginning on Monday, April 25, 2011, the City will reduce Main Street to one lane from Commercial Street to Juan Linn Street between the hours of 6 pm and 6 am to prepare the road surface for final paving. Throughout the duration of this phase of the project, parking will be restricted along the west side and the east side of Main Street. The traffic and parking restriction will occur between the hours of 6 pm and 6 am for three days, weather permitting. The final phase of the paving project is planned in mid-May.

Drivers can expect delays in the work zone and should use alternate routes to access businesses and parking lots. On-street parking will be prohibited in the work zone.

This construction is part of the $2,168,275 Main Street and DeLeon Plaza Improvements Project.  The contractor is SER Construction Partners, Ltd. of Pasadena, Texas.
