Commercial Street Reduced to One-Lane Westbound Only

From DeLeon Street to Liberty Street Beginning on April 18

(VICTORIA, TEXAS) Beginning on Monday, April 18, 2011, the City will reduce Commercial Street to one-lane westbound only between DeLeon Street and Liberty Street, for the construction of a water line.  The project is expected to take two weeks, weather permitting. 

Drivers can expect delays in the work zone and should use alternate routes to access businesses and parking lots. On-street parking will be prohibited in the work zone.

This construction is part of the $2,599,428 Downtown Water and Sewer Line Replacements   (Ph I - Projects 5 & 6).  The contractor is SER Construction Partners, Ltd. of Pasadena, Texas.
