Forrest Street Reduced To One Lane

Between Main and Liberty Streets September 20

(VICTORIA, TEXAS) The City will reduce Forrest Street to one-lane eastbound only from Main Street to Liberty Street starting Monday, September 20 for the construction of new curb and gutter, storm sewer, and sidewalk.  The construction on Forrest Street is expected to take approximately two weeks, weather permitting.

All businesses and parking lots in the work zone will remain accessible via alternate routes.

The City and contractor are working to reduce public inconvenience; however, drivers may experience delays in this area. Alternate routes are suggested when possible.

This construction is part of the $2,168,275.00 Main Street and De Leon Plaza Improvements Project. The contractor is SER Construction Partners, LTD from Houston, Texas.
