Scheduled Construction will reduce Main and Forrest Streets

To One Lane Beginning August 23

(VICTORIA, TEXAS) Beginning on Monday, August 23, the City will reduce Main Street between Goodwin and Constitution Streets to one lane and Forrest Street between Main and Liberty Streets to one-way, westbound only, for the construction of new curb and gutter, storm sewer, and sidewalk. These restrictions will remain in effect for approximately four weeks on Main Street and two weeks on Forrest Street, weather permitting. 

No parking will be allowed on the east side of Main Street, between Goodwin Constitution Streets, and the south side of Forrest Street between Main and Liberty Streets. All businesses and parking lots in the construction zone will remain accessible via alternate routes.  

This construction is part of the $2,168,275 Main Street and DeLeon Plaza Improvements Project.  The contractor is SER Construction Partners, Ltd. of Pasadena, Texas.
