Placement of Concrete Continues at Laurent/Mesquite Lane Intersection

Laurent Street Closed between Airline Road and Rosebud Avenue on July 20

(VICTORIA, TEXAS) The City will again close Laurent Street between Airline Road and Rosebud Avenue and the intersection of Laurent Street at Mesquite Lane on Tuesday, July 20 from 12 a.m. to 7 a.m. as placement of concrete continues in northbound lanes.  

Mesquite Lane can be accessed via Bluebonnet Drive (west of Laurent) and Azalea Street (east of Laurent). This section of concrete is expected to be completed over this one night, weather permitting. 

All businesses and parking lots in the construction zone will remain accessible via alternate routes. On-street parking will be prohibited in the work zone.

This construction is part of the $6,171,007 Laurent Street Reconstruction Phase II Project. The contractor is Total Site, Inc. of Houston, Texas.
