Main Street Reduced to One-Lane Southbound at
Santa Rosa Street and Juan Linn Street Beginning July 1
(VICTORIA, TEXAS) The City will reduce Main Street to one lane southbound Wednesday, July 1. The contractor, Triple B Services, is conducting investigative excavation to determine the location of any potential utility conflicts at these intersections:
Main Street at Santa Rosa Street
Main Street at Juan Linn Street
East-west traffic on Santa Rosa Street and Juan Linn Street will be allowed via flagmen. The construction at these intersections is expected to take one to two days, weather permitting.
Although, the City has taken measures to reduce the inconvenience to businesses, residents and motorists by limiting the area the contractor can disturb at one time, drivers may still experience major delays. When possible, motorists should plan alternate routes to avoid work zones.
This construction is part of the $2,913,062 Downtown Water and Sewer Line Replacement (Phase I, Projects 1 & 2). The contractor is Triple B Services, LLP from Huffman, Texas. The project is expected to take approximately 8 months to complete.
