Fourth of July Fireworks & Concert

(VICTORIA, TEXAS) The Victoria Parks and Recreation Department will host its annual Fourth of July fireworks celebration Saturday, July 4 on the grounds of the Community Center 2905 E. North Street. A generous grant by Hartman Distributing will make this celebration one of the largest ever in Victoria.

The event, which is co - sponsored by KIXS 107.9, Waste Management, Suddenlink, 98.7 Jack FM, and the Victoria Advocate, is free and open to the public.

A free concert by Jared Birmingham begins at 6 p.m. A large crowd is expected. Those attending are urged to park at the new Youth Sports Complex parking lot or the Community Center parking lot, as no parking on the Community Center grounds will be allowed.

Fireworks begin around 9:30 pm. Patriotic music will be simulcast on KIXS 107.9 during the fireworks display.
