The Victoria Fire Department presented the 2012 Fire Prevention Program on October 30th and 31st at the Fine Arts Center.  The program titled "The Safety Scouts" reached more than 1700 children and focused on camp fire safety, how to avoid spreading germs by "sneezing in your sleeve", how to care for a burn, calling 911, and how to be "Rabbit Ready" by having two ways out in case of fire.  The cast and crew are made up of members of the Victoria Fire and Police Department members, Victoria County Volunteer Fire Departments, The Red Cross, and the Crossroads Country Opry.

The Fire Department was remains undefeated gainst the Police Department in the annual Battle of the Badges kickball.  Team Captain Jennifer Dailey coached the team to a 3-1 victory to make our record a perfect 4-0.  The game is held to benefit  the United Way.
