Home Rehabilitation Program
The City of Victoria created the Home Rehabilitation Program to assist low-income homeowners in the City to provide decent, affordable housing for their families. The Program seeks to:
- to maintain and stabilize the quality of existing homes in the City by providing a means to carry out maintenance and prevent deterioration;
- to reduce the number of substandard owner-occupied housing units in the City;
- to enhance the visual quality of the City; and
- to partner with other community housing programs.
To meet this objective the City will utilize Community Development Block Grant funds to provide resources to low income homeowners who need rehabilitation assistance.
The program provides funds for eligible costs related to rehabilitating a single family home. The assistance is a grant and does not have to be repaid to the City.
No funds available.
This program was not funded in the 2010-2011 fiscal year.
