Mortgage Assistance Program

The City of Victoria created the Mortgage Assistance Program to help low income families achieve the "American Dream" of home ownership.

To meet this objective the City will utilize Community Development Block Grant funds to provide resources to low income families who qualify for a home mortgage, but lack funds for down payment and financing costs.

The program provides up to $2,500 for down payment and financing costs related to securing a home mortgage.   The assistance is a grant and does not have to be repaid to the City.
