Lieutenant Eline Moya began her career with the Victoria Police Department in 1999 as a Records Clerk. In the year 2000, she attended the Victoria College Police Academy and became a licensed peace officer with the VPD.
Since then, Lieutenant Moya has progressed through the ranks, serving in a variety of roles throughout the department including Patrol Officer, Senior Patrol Officer and Field Training Officer. In 2005, she transferred from Patrol to the Training Unit as a Training Officer where she served for three years.
In 2008, she promoted to Sergeant with assignments on a Patrol Platoon, in the Investigations Division and in Professional Standards where her duties included Internal Affairs, special projects and also she served as the department's Public Information Officer. In January of 2014, she promoted to the rank of Lieutenant and is now serves in the Patrol Division as the Administrative Lieutenant.
Lieutenant Moya holds a Master Peace Officer Certificate from the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement. She also has a TCOLE Instructor Certificate and is a Firearms Instructor and Crisis Intervention Trainer.
Lieutenant Moya is currently a board member of the Victoria Downtown Lions Club and Victoria Business & Education Coalition.Contact
