GUADALUPE RIVER FLOOD UPDATE: The National Weather Service is forecasting the Guadalupe River in Victoria to crest at 29.8 feet Friday night, which is "major flood stage" level. A disaster declaration was issued for Victoria due to the imminent threat of the flood.
- Riverside Park and the City RV Park are CLOSED
- A voluntary evacuation was issued for Greens Addition. Anyone choosing to stay should be prepared with food, drinks and medications through at least Sunday evening.
- A flood hotline is active at 361-580-5796 and will be staffed from 8 am to 6 pm until this event is over.
- A Red Cross shelter is open at First United Methodist Church at 407 N Bridge Street, Victoria, TX 77901 in the gymnasium/recreation center building. The shelter available for evacuees will only accept service animals (seeing eye dogs, seizure dogs, etc). If you need shelter and have a pet, please drop the pet off with friends or family, or have the pet boarded.

Library cards are free to residents of Texas. Proof of a current Texas address must be shown with at least one of the following:
A valid Texas driver's license showing your current address.
A Texas Department of Public Safety Identification Card showing your current address.
A photo ID and a printed check or utility bill showing your current address.
Juvenile Library Cards are issued to children 17 years and under. A family member must sign the application and proof of current address must be shown (see above). A family member can be: the legal parent or guardian; step-parent; aunt; uncle or grandparents.
Out of State Cards are available for a $30.00 annual fee.
Patron Privacy: In accordance with state law the library cannot give out patron information.
