Below are holiday dates that may affect your Recycling, Garbage, and Yard Waste collections. Solid Waste routes will run as normal on all other holidays. Please be sure to read carefully as some additional services may be provided during holiday collections.


2018 Recycling Holiday Schedule

Thanksgiving Day
If your regular recycling collection day falls on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 22, 2018, then your recycling will be collected on Saturday, November 24, 2018.

Christmas Day
If your regular recycling collection day falls on Christmas Day, Tuesday, December 25, 2018, then your recycling will be collected on Saturday, December 22, 2018.

New Year's Day
If your recycling collection day falls on New Year's Day, Tuesday, January 1, 2019, then your recycling will be collected on Saturday, December 29, 2018.

2018 Garbage Holiday Collection Schedule

Thanksgiving Day
If your normal garbage collection falls on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 22, 2018 then your garbage will be collected on Wednesday, November 21, 2018. 

Christmas Day
If your normal garbage collection falls on Christmas Day, Tuesday, December 25, 2018 then your garbage will be collected on Wednesday, December 26, 2018.

Extra garbage will be collected from December 26, 2018 thru December 31, 2018 on your designated day.

Note: Extra garbage for those whose designated garbage day falls on December 25th will be collected on Wednesday, December 26, 2018.

Please place extra garbage out in either standard, store bought trash cans or plastic bags and set them at the curb 5 feet away from any obstacles including other city issued carts.

New Year's Day
If your normal garbage collection falls on New Year's Day, Tuesday, January 1, 2019 then your garbage will be collected on Wednesday, January 2, 2019.

2018 Yard Waste Holiday Collection Schedule

Thanksgiving Day
If your normal yard waste collection falls on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 22, 2018 then your yard waste will be collected on Saturday, November 24, 2018.

Christmas Day
If your normal yard waste collection falls on Christmas Day, Tuesday, December 25, 2018 then your yard waste will be collected on Saturday, December 22, 2018.
Yard waste will NOT be collected from December 26th thru January 2nd.

Beginning Monday, January 7, 2019: Christmas trees will be collected as yard waste on your designated YARD WASTE day. Everything including stands, lights, ornaments and other decorations must be removed before the tree can be collected. Artificial or flocked trees (trees coated in fake snow) will not be accepted as yard waste.

New Year's Day
If your normal yard waste collection falls on New Year's Day, Tuesday, January 1, 2019 then your yard waste will be collected on Saturday, December 29, 2018.
