Statewide Warrant Round Up

To play the Public Service Announcement click here.

Do you have unpaid parking tickets or traffic fines in Victoria or Port Lavaca? If you do, there’s probably a warrant out for your arrest and you might be going to jail in March when the Victoria Municipal Court and Victoria Police Department participate in this year’s Great Texas Warrant Roundup. Port Lavaca’s Police Department and Municipal Court are also participating in the Warrant Roundup in Calhoun County.

The Warrant Round-Up is a crackdown of people who have Active Warrants for Traffic Tickets and Ordinance Violations. There are Two Phases of The Warrant Roundup:

  • The first phase, which begins on February 10 and ends February 24, will consist of a grace period (Warrant Calls).  During this time, anyone who has outstanding warrants is encouraged to pay their fines at the Victoria County Municipal Court without being arrested.

  • The last phase, which begins February 25 and ends March 4, is Enforcement Week. During this week, individuals will be rounded up  and arrested at their homes, places of employment and anywhere else they are found.

To find out if your name is on the Warrant List, contact the Municipal Court at 361-485-3050 or click on the link below:
