The City Secretary Office is located in City Hall on the first floor.

 Open Monday through Friday 8-5.

The City Secretary Office writes minutes of Council Meetings, files all ordinances, resolutions, and contracts approved by Council. This office keeps on file the current City Code of Ordinances. The City Secretary facilitates City elections with the County Election Administrator.

This Office is the local registrar for filing all birth and death certificates in Victoria County. This Office issues birth certificates for any birth in Texas and death certificates for any deaths occurring in Victoria. The public is assisted with birth, death and paternity amendments.
