The Permit Development Center was created to streamline the permit application process. Permit Development consists of three specialists that have been cross-trained in all aspects of the permit application process. The Center is responsible for the issuance of all permits for new commercial / residential building / remodel, carports, manufactured home placement, driveways, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, natural gas, signs and billboards, swimming pools, irrigation systems, etc.
All construction within the city limits must secure a building permit.
Items exempt from needing a permit.
Building permits for commercial projects will only be issued when sufficient plans, details, and site plans are submitted so as to determine compliance with all applicable codes.
